The National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors [NAIFA] protects and promotes the critical role of insurance in a sound financial plan and the essential role provided by our professional agents and advisors.


The mission of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors is to advocate for a positive legislative and regulatory environment, enhance business and professional skills, and promote the ethical conduct of our members.


The goal of NAIFA-Mansfield is:

(a) To support and maintain the principals and advance the best interests of legal reserve life insurance, health insurance and related financial services.

(b) To advance public knowledge of the concept and uses of legal reserve life insurance, health insurance and related financial services.

(c) To uphold the American Life Insurance Agency System of life insurance distribution and to strive constantly for its improvement.

(d) To protect and promote ethical conduct in the business of life and health insurance and related financial services.

(e) To increase the knowledge of members of this association concerning the principles, functions, and applications of legal reserve life insurance, health insurance and related financial services.

(f) To uphold the laws of this state and of the United States affecting life insurance, health insurance and related financial services.

(g) To promote legislation, regulation and practices which are in the best interests of life and health insurance, related financial services, the insuring public and the agency system.

(h) To provide for civic and community service through member associations.

(i) To foster the development of enduring friendships.

(j) To encourage and coordinate such activities of members as are consistent with these objectives in the interest of life and health insurance and related financial services, the agency system, and the insuring public.

(k) To encourage adequate protection against the hazards of disability as part of a well-rounded life and health insurance program.

(l) To create and maintain a sound public opinion, to promote good will and in all other appropriate and legally permissible ways to protect and advance the best interest of legal reserve life insurance and of health insurance.
