Message from our President

Dear Naifa Mansfield Members,

I am deeply honored to be nominated as your president for the 2009-2010 term. Naifa-Mansfield is a great association and I thank you for your vote of confidence. My goal as your president is to ensure that everyone continues to have a voice in the direction our association takes. It is important to point out that the association can only survive if we have involvement from every member. Our association, like many others, has seen a decline in membership. I ask everyone who is a member to encourage other insurance professionals to join. Let’s all make it a goal to sponsor one new member for the 2009-2010 term.

In these trying times of economic uncertainty we have to band together ever so much more than we have before. We are the voice for each other, our clients, and the insurance industry. If we are to be successful everyone needs to take an active role as a member of Naifa-Mansfield. I don’t profess to have all the answers and will call upon you to assist me in that endeavor.

As we move forward for the upcoming year, we will continue to provide the programs we have done in the past. However, if anyone has any new ideas that they would like for the board to consider for fund raising, luncheon speakers, etc., we definitely want to hear from you. Our Super CE Days have been a great fund raiser for our association, and future Super CE Days will be comprised of only the Life and Health side of the business. We also will be bringing back the membership directory, so don’t forget to come to our Sept. 18 luncheon meeting to get your copy. In 2010 anyone who sells LTC will have to attend a 4 hour class and preparations are underway for us to conduct one or two of these classes again.

Best regards,

President
